The Kuwait Sports Club for the Disabled was where my journey in advocacy, inclusion, and support for persons with disabilities began in 1998. It was through this experience that I developed a deeper understanding of human resilience, social responsibility, and the importance of empowering individuals through community support, awareness, and professional engagement.
After being appointed Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Kuwait University in 2012, I gained extensive administrative, professional, and field experience through direct engagement with students from diverse social, cultural, and educational backgrounds. This role strengthened my understanding of student needs and taught me the importance of inclusive leadership, teamwork, crisis management, institutional coordination, and community engagement. It also deepened my commitment to supporting students with disabilities, promoting student well-being, and creating initiatives that combine academic development with social responsibility and human-centered practice.
A selected collection of moments from conferences, academic leadership roles, professional activities, and community engagement initiatives throughout different stages of my academic and professional journey.
